Drained the tank of 98 ultimate and filled it up with some methanol. Went out for a little road tune and holy sh*t this thing must be making 400+kW on 8psi of boost its insane how much better methanol is compared to e85. Pity the fuel pump was pretty much maxed out on 8psi I want to see what it'll do with 20+psi.

 

Edit: also M2 cherry bomb lube is awesome smells so good.

 

 

Would have been lean as, you cant even substitute methanol for a car tuned on E85. Motor wont live long..

it's just that Methanol reads really low and typically AFR meters wont go that far down

Hahaha lol at thinking I just swapped fuels and didn't tune to suit hahahaha.

Runs a haltech wideband jet.

Edit: most of the problems with widebands and running methanol is the cold burn. The heater running constantly in the exhaust burns out the sensor. So to fix it I just don't turn the wideband controller on until the motor has reached running temp.
