Local brake place wanted to charge me freight to get HPX front pads in for standard BA calipers, even though they stock QFM and actively push them! Wanted to supply for $150 or fitted for $300! Next call was Race Brakes Sydney.

So the PW throttle body elbow was installed this arvo. What a Kent of a job to do, if it is your first time. Dem silicon joiners are tighter than a 16 year old virgin.

Got there in the end and all connected as intended, after battling WWW3.

Now I gotta get a tune cause too much airflow. :P

Use a ring spaner k31th, won't have that problem then.
You might be lucky if you file the edges flat otherwise its vise grip time.

Can't get the head of the ring in there because of that oil drain flange. Could grind the edge of the ring on the spanner so that it fits...

The rest of them were able to be cracked by the ring end of the spanner. I must have slipped on my grip on the turbo when I was applying the torque with the open end of the same spanner :(

Thanks mate.
