bossmang FREAKY Legacy Donating Member 12,441 Member For: 16y 6m 22d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 07/11/16 11:30 AM Posted 07/11/16 11:30 AM fluff one thing I did notice over the last year or so is that cooktops and sinks are some what getting deeper. well on the last custom kitchen I did. the gas cooktop was really deep as in front to back. so much so the standard 600mm deep benchtop was actually not big enough. we end up butchering the cabinetry and installing the cooker against regulation distances because the fker was too big and too late by the time the plumber came to fitting it. same with the dudes fridge was so freekin deep it sat out 200+mm and looked ridiculous. either recess the fridge back into the wall. (take out the studs). or have deeper cabinetry but will cost ya. and dont do mirror splash backs they are sooo wank! good luck keeping one clean! haha (stupid block tv show ead with your mirrors) good luck looking forward to the build
